NIGERIAN CHRISTIAN COUNSELORS ASSOCIATION NCCA is not copy right but product of burden and sincere desire to develop Christian Counselors. After eight (8) years of teaching Pastoral Counseling in more than five theological schools across the state, I began to wonder the effect of Counseling has created. And as well as what the graduates were doing with the techniques, ethics and characteristics. I decided to ask God for directions. The first move was sending letters to 10 of those who were available. They responded promptly. After about two years of prayers and inductions we decided to inaugurate the Association, precisely on December 9, 2000. Nigerian Christian Counselors are the first of their kinds in Nigerian as a country. As a community Counseling outfit we move from one community to another creating awareness. Even though these awareness conferences are two costly to find we have from in captain hosted six awareness seminars and two national Conferences. The second national conference is shown on the pictures. There is a national Board for certification. Due to mix-ups and misunderstanding by some "prophets" about what Christian Counseling is (activity and prophecy) this board was formed and inaugurated for continuing education credits needed to keep Christian counseling a licensed Ministry in the state and beyond. |
