Mountain biking
At first, I ordered an Autobike from CSA, what a peice of junk that was.  I don't know what I was thinking.  One day, I got frustrated with the bike so I went to just about all the shops in town and ended up going home with a 96 Giant ATX-990.
The ATX was a full suspension bike.  It was made after the downhill championship team bike ridden by John Tomac (he's the man).  It was much better than the Autobike.  I upgraded the brakes to XT V-brakes, these are very dangerous just switching from cantilevers, they stop on a dime.  I beefed up the Rox Shocks Judy XC with springs, added a set of Spins, put on a XT cassette, and was ready to roll.  After riding around for a while, I found that the bike was not really suiting me, it was a stiff ride on the rear.
After seeing the MCM-990 in the catalog, I ordered the frame and ordered all the parts that I wanted to put on it.  My MCM-990 has full XTR components, except for the front derailleur which style Shimano does not make.  I put on a set of Mavic Cross Lands wheels, Rox Shocks Judy XL and put on the SL lower legs to match the paint scheme of the bike.  I really didn't care for the Eggplant, yuck.  I also have a King head set on it, Syncros stem, Yeti handlebars, Syncros seat post, and Comp Ventura Ti seat.  The bike looks very nice, but it is pretty heavy for a cross country bike.  The way it is now, I have 4 inches of travel in the front and rear.
My next bike will most likely be a Titus titanium Quasi Motto.  It has a good deal of travel, but is very light.  If I ever get this bike, it'll be one bad ride.  But for now I have to pay for all my bills and my car.
Fishes
I enjoy raising fishes, mostly large fishes, especially carniverous ones.  My favorite fishes are Arawana, Jardini, and others in this family.  They can grow up to lengths of 6 feet long for the Leichardti, the others range from 2 to 4 feet long.  They eat other fishes, or anything floating or near the surface of the water.  They look very prehistoric.  I also enjoy watching my Pacu (far right) grow to nerly 2 feet long and about 14 inches tall.
R/C cars
I don't have any pics yet but here is a link to my latest acquisition, the Juggernaut.   It is Tamiyas latest monster truck featuring 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering.  It has a Ford F350 body, but it does look good.
Plastic models
I also like to collect models of all sorts.  I have a bunch of classic muscle cars, a few exotic sports cars, and some late model vehicles to modify.  I especially likt to collect Japanese mecha from Gundam and Robotech.
Robotech and it's other series Southern Cross and Mospeada were broadcasted in the states, but I'm not sure if Gundam was.  I watched the movies for both, and they are very entertaining, to me at least.  The Japanese put a lot into their anime, so you're not just watching a cartoon.
The Cartoon Network will show Gundam Wing in the US.
Knives
My latest hobby is collecting knives.  My favorites are butterflys and Gil Hibbens fantasy knives.
