DISCLAIMER

I am writing this disclaimer because I know that some dumbass is going to read this and try the possible repair recommendations, mess up, and try to sue me. This is not intended to replace the PROFESSIONAL opinion/diagnosis of a trained mechanic. This is only to serve as a guide to help you decide if you want to do the repairs yourself, or at the least, it will serve as a guide when trying to explain the situation to your mechanic. So let me get this out of the way...I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT IS CAUSED BY ANY ADVICE AND/OR RECOMMENDATIONS THAT ARE LISTED IN THE PROCEEDING PAGES...ANY REPAIRS DONE TO YOUR CAR IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The information contained herein is from the 1998 edition of the Haynes Automotive Repair Manual for 1992--1996 Toyota Camrys, all models (I4 5S-FE (all years); V6 3VZ-FE (92-93) or 1MZ-FE (94-current V6 models). Theoretically you can use the information regarding the I4s and 1MZ-FEs and apply it to the engine on the current generation of Camry because the engines are almost exactly the same except for a couple of refinements.

Anyway...here are your choices:
