Listening to Tom Draschil's radio show closely reveals he'd be a lot more comfortable if he'd never have revealed to me his lifestyle. Or better yet, if I had just kept my mouth shut. And a lot of people ask me why I didn't keep his secret. There are a number of reasons, and in no particular order, here's some of them.

Ø When I discovered I was surrounded by a clutch of polygamists, I sometimes felt like everyone else in the world knew, and just assumed I was one of them. I had to do something drastic to establish for the record that I was not at K-Talk because I was part of their cult, and that in fact I had been unaware that it was a cult.
Ø It occurred to me that Draschil, et al, had let me in on the secret in an effort to recruit me - after all, they do breed for looks ;-> . This was my way of saying "NO THANK YOU" to their recruitment efforts.
Ø I wanted others to understand K-Talk's anti-American views were a result of cult conditioning, not reasoned politics. Though I agree they ought to be able to say anything they want on the public airwaves, they also ought to feel obliged to tell their lifastening audience how and why they formed their political views. If you're from a cult, your politics are formed to benefit that cult - not the general population. By hiding their cultish origins they mislead the audience into believing K-Talk means to benefit society, but K-Talk's focus is much more narrow than that.
Ø By hiding their secret from me, Kenny Astro, for three years they used my professionalism, my creativity, my blood, sweat, and tears to broaden their audience and lend credibility to their hateful and seditious message. I wanted to strip away my endorsement of K-Talk.

So, what would have you done? I was in a pickle. Three years of my work turns out to have benefited a polygamist-y operation. Could I let that stand? Could've you? I had to scream the truth and get the hell out. To no benefit of my own, I might add. In fact, if you're looking for a most excellent talk show host or news guy get in touch with me, because I'm still looking for a job in radio :->

BTW, look in the Ruzicka case file (http://www.geocities.com/drkennyastro/ruzicka.htm) for more of those links to become active soon! From now on when you read news stories about Ms. Ruzicka ask yourself: "Now isn't that just what a polygamist would do?", or ask yourself "Sounds like an LDS position or sounds like a polygamist position?". Try it out on the archival links from that page. You'll see what I mean.

Just one more note. This website has become so popular we've even been parodied! To clear up all confusion let me state for the record: the website geocities.com/kennyastroisaloser is not mine - just the sincerest form of flattery, i.e. an imitation.

Talk to ya soon! Don't forget you can be in touch with me at [email protected] with any tips or information that could help…of course you'll remain anonymous if you wish.
