BALDUR (Bayesian Logical Decisions for Uncertainty and Risk)
This website is dedicated to the BALDUR Software, which contains iid sampling procedures for a number of Bayesian generalized linear models. There are currently two forms of the software, an R-package as well as an Excel add-in.
General Description

Discussion of R-Package

In order to use the R-package, you must first make sure you have R installed. You should download the precompiled Windows base binaries from
here (the .exe file).  After downloading, you should run the .exe file and R will self install.

To download and install the R-package, do the following:

Step 1: Download
gsllib.zip and Baldur_0_0-0.zip and save both in the same folder (do not unzip the Baldur_0_0.zip file)

Step 2: Open R and select Install Packages from local zip files from the packages meny--> Browse to folder containing Baldur_0_0.zip and select it.

Step 3: Browse to the folder containing the Baldur.dll file (usually in  a location such as
c:\Program files\R\R-2.5.0\library\Baldur\libs)

Step 4: Unzip the gsllib.zip files in the same folder as in
step 3.

Step 5: Load the package using the load package selection in the packages menu inside R when using the package.

"In retrospect, it is interesting to note that the original problem that started my research is still outstanding -- namely the problem of planning or scheduling dynamically over time , particularly planning dynamically  under uncertainty. If such a problem could  be succesfully solved, it could (eventually through better planning) contribute to the well-being and stability of the world"
