/who
Tells you all of the people in the room.
/msg nick
If you know someone's nickname and want to send s/he a message, type /msg followed by the nickname, then the message. If that person is on the same chat server at that time, s/he will receive the message whether in the room with you or not.
/whois nick
Tells you specifically who a user is.
/join roomname
Leave the current room and join a new one
/me
Used to display an action or emotion after your user name. For example: /me jumps out the window looks like username jumps out the window on-screen.
/topic
Topic Change the topic for the current room.
/ignore nick
To ignore a specific user who is bothering you in whisper or the chat room.
/unignore nick
To be able to see the messages of the user you previously ignored.
/help
