Biography:
Salar Samii is one of the DWL veterans who still has a lot unknown about him. After three seasons in the league, we have yet to see him play with someone other than Scott.
Samii is the type of player that can score on occasion, but is nowhere near a number one option. His shot is mediocre and his dribbling can be erratic. While not as athletic as most of the 2-men in the DWL, Salar is able to pass very well and knows how to use his size around the glass.
Amazingly Salar was the first person to win back to back Most Improved Player awards in '05 winter and 2007. Even though the stats may have declined, his comfort level in the professional atmosphere of the DWL has definitely seen an increase.
