Biography:
Saam is an all-around decent player. He doesn't have very much height, or weight, but he's a pretty strong kid that isn't pushed around easily. He can hit shots if he's left open, but struggles to create his own shot opportunities. In 2003 he averaged only 3.2 ppg which was the second lowest in the league.
His dribbling and passing skills are average, not exceptional but not terrible. He's a good team player, but only when placed with someone better than him.
He's not a player that can carry a team, but he's not a player that will let anyone down either. He has a solid understanding and a love for the game, he just wasn't blessed with a ton of basketball talent.
If he's left open, he'll score. If he's guarded, it won't be as easy. Whoever Saam is with is getting a good team player and a good kid. They aren't, however, getting a star. A few years ago Saam lost to Kevin in a one-on-one competition 66-4.
