Ryan Oben begins his rookie season fresh off getting a taste of a championship after winning Soccerplex's flag football title. A 2man who knows how to win is something coveted in the DWL.
Oben has the size and strength to outrebound many 2men. What some may overlook is his ability to consistently shoot the ball.
During his time at the University of Maryland, Oben could be found often playing pickup on the fierce College Park courts. Vadim Shenderey, Tim Rumpff, Scott Henderson and Alex Parr all became DWL All-Stars after playing pickup at College Park.
