They've taken over the top spot after capturing their league leading fifth win six games. However, the unseen story with this team is that they have yet to beat anyone of any significance. Here's a quick list of their wins: Kevin/Tom (1-2), Andrew/Matt (1-4), Andrew/Salar (0-2), Ashkon/Greg (0-2), Joey/Ryan (0-3). They look like a great DWL team and possibly the best this season, but we can't be sure until they take down an opponent with a winning record.
Ryan/Mark

2-0
They finally made their DWL debut and did it in a big way going 2-0. Ryan looks unguardable averaging 12 pts and 9.5 rebs per contest while Mark looks like he has found an edge that was lacking in '07 and '08's combine. It took them OT to take down Joey/Ryan, but they dominated Jay/Jared. Upcoming games against Scott/Ryan and Vadim/Ryan will be tests of how good this team actually is.
Tim/Anthony

4-1
Some said Tim was unstoppable and this team couldn't be beat. Others said they were a very vulnerable undefeated team. Looks like the second was more accurate after dropping a 13-11 decision to Devin/Abi when Anthony's D was exploited. Their quality wins against Alex/Adam and Scott/Ryan weren't enough to keep them at the top, but kept them ahead of two undefeated teams.
Vadim/Ryan

Still need a couple more games from this team to see them move anywhere. They needed OT to beat Andrew/Salar and barely got by Scott/Ryan. If they continue to win, they're likely to leap frog the top three teams. However, they seem like a beatable team so its possible for them to go south as well.
Abi/Devin

NR

3-0
A team that will go under the radar all season. In their first three games they've shown that they can balance the scoring against two good defenders, or easily expose a weak defender. Will be great games against Alex/Adam and Vadim/Ryan. Devin on a smaller court where he won't have as much space to work with will also be a completely different game.
Scott/Ryan

2-2
The preseason favorites have had off-court issues since their dissapointing .500 start including a Ryan Fitzmeyer holdout that included a no-show. He has also had his agent talks with Ryan Motyka and Tim Rumpff about trades. Scott has rejected any moves offered and it looks like they'll continue this windy road that is 2008. Their two wins came against two teams that have a combined record of 1-6. They'll need to prove they can compete in a very tough division with upcoming games against Alex/Adam and Abi/Devin.
Joey/Ryan 7 NR 6.7 0-3 Many veteran DWL members thought Ryan (who was a one-man last season) pairing with Joey (a WM basketball standout) would dominate the DWL. They struggled with conditioning and old age during their debut going 0-3. They're better than how they played in those games but still have a lot of work to get into the playoffs.
Jay/Jared

The DWL has its own "Big Z" in "Big Jay". He's deceptively strong and loves tapping the ball in off missed shots. Their first win of the season came against Joey/Ryan and they could get hot late in the season and make a playoff push with a lot of help from other teams.
Ashkon/Greg

10.0
0-2
The second best of three winless teams so far. Almost beat Scott/Ryan and lost badly to Alex/Adam. Still have games against Tim/Anthony and Devin/Abi but if they can sneak one win out of those two, they may be on the playoff edge with wins over some of the other bottom-dwellers.
Kevin/Tom
T-10

10.3
1-2
Sliding in the rankings big time after what some called a "give up" against Alex/Adam. Kevin has been quoted as saying they were just overmatched, but people who saw the game claimed they quit. This team is still very much in the mix, but will have to give a lot of effort to beat division teams Ryan/Mark and Vadim/Emil.
Andrew/Matt
T-10

10.3

The win against Jay/Jared was huge. If they're able to win two more games without losing, they might be able to sneak into the playoffs with a losing streak from Kevin/Tom or Scott/Ryan.
Andrew/Salar

11.0
0-2
Andrew needs to come to the next DWL ready to play if this team hopes to make the playoffs. Their upcoming games against Joey/Ryan, Andrew/Matt and Kevin/Tom could be elimination games.
