Matt comes in the leauge as a unrestricted free agent and is excited to prove that experience can outweigh raw talent. He has a big body that he can use to match up with any of the big men in the league defensively. As one of the strongest men in the league, he can muscle down low and hold his own in the paint and on the boards.

He may lack basketball coordination, but his aggressive mentality will help him get loose balls and play shut-down D. His dribbling and passing skills are acute, but his desire to win and his constant hustle makes up for whatever he lacks in those areas. In the end, his average basketball talent may catch up with him, but if he’s matched up with the right person, he could turn a lot of heads around the league.
