The awards show had some familiar and not-so familiar faces winning awards. The night began with one of the awards that seemed to be completely up for grabs, the most improved award. This award serves as somewhat of a foreshadowing award for who will have future success in the DWL. Craig Schattner, 2003's winner went on to lead the league in RPG in 2004. This year's winner of the MOST IMPROVED AWARD goes to: Ryan Motyka who switched from a 2-man to a 1-man and still improved his PPG by 2.3. |

Most Improved Player 1. Ryan Motyka 46.7% 2. Joel Katz 13.3% 3. Kevin Eaton 13.3% 4. Scott Henderson 13.3% 5. Alex Parr 6.7% 6. Ryan Walker 6.7% |

Next up was the Defensive Player of the Year award and everyone seemed on the edge of their seats. The league has been solicited for months by the "Katz for D.P.O.Y." campaign and now we'll see if it pays off. And the DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD goes to: Joel Katz. Immediately Adam Browne stormed out of the awards ceremony in a rage and proceeded to slam dunk repeatedly on a hoop outside. He then told 100 people that Joel was gay and threatened to throw him through a window. |

Following Joel and Kevin's lovefest for getting Joel the award, it was time to announce the 2-man of the year. Last year's winner, Ryan Walker, was the first person to be up for the award again. The TWO-MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD goes to: Ryan Walker for the second consecutive year. Ryan was first in scoring with 6.7 ppg and fourth in rebounding with 5.5 rpg out of the DWL's 2-men. |

The final award of the night seemed to be an interesting one. Would the league vote for Adam Browne because of his statistical history making that he did this year? Or would the league see through it and give it to the guy who has never lost a game? The MOST VALUABLE PLAYER goes to: David Lanham who went 6-0 and averaged 9.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg. |
