Phelps Lee Gore

Phelps Lee Gore was born in 1837,  Overton County, Tennessee unto the parents of
Mounce and Rebecca "Simcoe" Gore.
Phelps Lee Gore, married Susan Robinson the
daughter of Joseph and Martha Robinson on August 24, 1858 in Smith county, Tn.

Phelps Lee Gore left Overton County, Tennessee in 1868, relocating his family to the
hills of Butler county, Missouri. The 1870 Missouri census list's the children of Phelps
and Martha Gore, along with three other children who may of been two neices and one
nephew.

Phelps Lee and Susan "Robinson" Gore had at least eight children which are as follows;

Issac Jack Gore
Martha A. Gore
Sarah S. Gore
Mary Lavada Gore
Samuel Gore
Ida Gore
Leona Gore
Joseph Gore

Phelps Lee Gore died at Mountainburg, Arkansas and Susan "Robinson" Gore died at
Webster county, Missouri in December, 1897. 
Susan "Robinson" Gore was buried at
the Gore farm in Seymour, Missouri.

Mary Lavada Gore had two daughters out of wedlock, named Della and Clara who were
raised by others, according to family legends. The two daughters were aware of brothers
and kept in contact with family members during their lifetime. One letter was to my
father
