I am currently trying the ATF treatment on my car. Basically all you do is inject ATF into the rotory housing, turn it over by hand so that you get ATF on all the Apex seals, and hope that it removes the harmful carbon build ups. After you've injected the ATF into the housing you let it sit for a day or so. I turned the engine over every few hours so that a different Apex seal was in the pool of ATF at the bottom of the rotory housing. Its been like this since Friday the 21, and is now the Sunday the 23 of December.
Current Upgrades done, and getting done to my 87 RX-7 Turbo.

Upgrades in the works
I installed a GReddy 2000 Turbo Timer to help cycle the oil out of the turbo after ignition shutdown.
I put on Flaukens on the front and Yokos on the back. Both are very aggressive and sticky.
I am in the process of putting on a complete exhuast system. I have a 3" Downpipe, and 60mm Cat back. I also have a Bonez cat replacement pipe, but that will wait for another day.
On Sunday the 23 I started my car up again after haveing treated it with ATF. I used one quart of penzoil ATF. It smoked for about 20 minutes, and foggered out my nieghborhood. I noticed better idle, easier starts, more power.
When I finished the pilot bearing install I put up my new exhaust. With the DP and the cat replacement on I noticed a massive increase in response. Not only do I get better throttle response, but I getter quicker spool, and more psi of boost.
I now need to put on an aftermarket Boost Gauge. One that reads in PSI.
I need to upgrade my suspension. I'm looking at Tokico, or KYB five way adj. shocks, Eibach progressive rate springs, and energy suspension anti-sway bars and polyurethane bushings. All said and done, it will cost around 1000 to get all the parts, so this is a long term project that I will aquire the parts for one or two at a time.
I am also looking into a FMIC and a larger turbo, I was thinking a T04-E with a divided manifold. I could modify a Starion IC to fit in front, and they will hold out to 20ish psi, I would only be looking to boost to 12-14 at the most anyways so this would work fine.
