| 15th ....8 am and it all starts, collecting and delivering chairs and tables, fixing PA, electrics, banners all up, flowers in place, bring in the water......walkie talkies, and security team, oh what yellow jackets .......prayerwall finished, salvation net up, maps, tribes of Judah ......and the Angels flying high above the worship area, with the wild goose .......many hands, many feet......nearly time...... 15th ....6pm drums beating, preparing the way for the Lord, three Shofar blasts to call people to worship ..... and so we began, a time of great rejoicing, a time of pure worship to Him who deserves all the glory, and the beginning of War. We had many worship teams involved, Jarrod Cooper (New Life Hull), Rachel Nellist (Maranatha Scarborough), Streetfire (U.S.A) Heather Cleverly (Scarborough & district Methodist), Chuck Tilton (U.S.A) Pauline Lovett (Burnley Vineyard), Nic Barella (U.S.A) Malton Youth Worship team, Beverley Community Church, Claire & members of Christchurch Bridlington, Dan & Helen Malarchy, Judy & Mary (Methodist Cranswick), Wordsworth Youth worship team (Driffield Parish Church) and Driffield Christian Fellowship. Many styles of worship was experienced by approximately 450 believers who visited for long and short periods during the 24 hours. Many stayed for the whole time keeping warm within the Lords presence. The continuous flow of worship, sung and spoken progressed within a gentle programme of local leaders sharing, congregations being encouraged to bring what the Lord was saying, and significant reconciliation acts.......especially between Ireland and England, (There had been a group of mighty intercessors that had come over from Ireland, approximately for 36 hours, but they had come with a mission to fight together with the English for peace and His Kingdom to come). The Americans also came with the same mission that this time we would fight together from the beginning of the war (they were nicknamed the "Eagle Squadron") and mighty warriors they were. Communion was taken in the early hours of the morning and much peace was found by those there. |
