My resolutions/wish list for 2004:

well, i was wondering whether to write one, but i finally settled write one in the last few minutes of the first day of 2004. this is a resolutions/wish list, some are resolutions, some are wishes, and some, i can't differentiate between the two, so here it goes...

(yes, it is in order of importance...)

1. i must focus and study hard this year. i did extremely badly last year and somehow, because of that, i have been given another chance this year. i don't know whether that is good or bad or both, but i really hope i make use of this chance to make it all good again.
2. i wish everyone i know good health. people dying always have that effect i guess. with every death, we constantly remind ourselves how unpredictable life is and how we must cherish the people around us. and death to me is always very thought provoking. i mean, from my senseless statements about death a few years back, to recent observations i have made, death does make me think of a lot of stuff. without being too morbid, i do imagine how it is like to have someone i love greatly leave me, and i really hope it never happens in real life. *touch wood*
3. i wish i can really figure out what i want to do with my life. i just turned 21 almost two weeks ago. another step closer to my 24. where will i be at 24?
4. secret.
5. i hope in the new year, Mayday will continue be as great as ever and will continue making good music. i hope they will carry on their passion and insistence in the way they strive for perfection and i hope we can all learn from them, to have passion and insist on striving for perfection. on a different note, i hope i can like them more and less this year. don't bother about me, it's one of those confused complex feeling i have for them.
6. i wish i can make it for one of the outdoor music festivals in taiwan that we said we will go for. as i said, we have to go experience it before we are no longer entitled to the usage of the word "youth". think sun, beach, taipi, music..
7. embodied in wish #6, i want to go taiwan. for a very simple reason: it is damn fun.
8. i want to go china too. i want to see the forbidden palace in real.
