Tell us a bit about yourself
I have been married to my husband Bruce for 6 years and we have a beautiful 5 year old daughter named Morgan. We have a golden retriever named Brandi and three cats. We love to spend time together as a family hiking, skating and boating.

How did you come up with your daycare name?
It was the only name I came up with in brainstorming that my husband didn't hate.

How long have you been providing daycare?
Since September 2005

What was your "inspiration" to get involved in the daycare field?
I have a natural love for children and am thrilled to experience the joy of first accomplishments right along with the children. When I was working outside the home, I was always thinking about my daughter and wanting to be with her. I am so glad I can now �play� for a living.

What is your favorite part of your "new" profession?
I can play with toys, squish play dough, jump in puddles and be as silly as I want and that's okay because it is part of my job.

What was your old profession?
Research and Product Development in the Genetics field

If you had a $1000 to spend on things for your day care, what would you buy?
I would redecorate my playroom and add more storage. I would also like to get some more outdoor storage for strollers, wagons and outdoor toys.

How did you learn about the daycare association?
I came across the website when I was researching home daycare. I meant to check it out but finally did after I saw Laurie K promoting the group on an on line forum.

How long have you been a member of the day care association?
Just under a year.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still doing daycare and still loving it!
