| how thrilling... |
| i graduated from kent state university with a bs in integrated life sciences in may of 2001. no, it's not a bullshit major. much unlike philosophy or leisure studies. i am in an accelerated program...which for me turned out to be not-so-fast. what was supposed to take me two years (my undergrad schoolin') actually took me three. i am currently smack dab in the middle of my second year at neoucom. and poms is damned hard. but right now i'm learning about infectious diseases--how to catch 'em and how to treat 'em. its fascinating. if you ever catch me online sometime, ask me about pinworms and ascaris. fascinating stuff. i may just go into infectious diseases when i get out of this hellhole that is my education. i live in an apartment. my room kicks. too bad you cant see it. i have pretty pink wallpaper and frilly lace curtains. im the envy of my friends. ha ha ha. my room has always kicked. wish you could see my first dorm room ever. summer of 98. yes, i graduated from hs in 98. (dont let the three r's fool you. i know disrespect there.) i was so ready for school that i started in two weeks. good times. if i had known then what i know now...i would have eaten less, studied more, and partied hardy that first summer. it was only going to get harder... but doesnt it always? perhaps someday you will see pics of my first dorm room. my door, with its lyrics upon lyrics upon lyrics. oh yes, it kicked major ass. i've moved into my new apartment with my (finally) fiance. his name is john. when i first started dating him, i told him i could never marry him, because he had a boring first name. i told him i was destined to marry a man named edmund or something interesting like that. john's not such a bad name. i dont know what i was thinking. in fact, we are planning on getting married in october of 2003. the 18th, specifically. so if this page finds you near that day, not only will it be horribly out of date, but it would also be nice for you to think good thoughts for us. if you're interested in the silly details of the wedding, we have a page for that, too. go here. not everything plans-wise is finished yet. don't rush me. i still have time. but hey, at least he's finally formally proposed. he proposed on october 18, this year (2002). so it was like a perfect year between the proposal and the wedding. he's so thoughtful. now i feel bad for nagging him about the ring for so long. oh well. he knew what he was signing on for when he met me! my hometown was small. his hometown was small. want to know more? |
