2:80-82 THE NON-BELIEVERS WILL NEVER ENTER PARADISE
2:80 "And they (i.e. the Jews) said: ‘ The Fire (of Hell) will
not touch them except for a few days.’ Say (to them)
(Holy Prophet): ‘ Did you take a promise from Allah?
(If it is so) He will then not go against His Promise;
or you say such things about Allah, which you just
don’t know.’”
2:81 "Of course, whosoever earned an evil, and whose
sins surrounded him, they are the people of Fire,
where they will abide for ever.”(9:68;18:29;22:19..)
2:82 "And those, who believe ( in Islam) and perform
good deeds, they are the people of Paradise, where
they will live for ever.”(18:30,31;22:23,24;35:33..)

1. The hypothesis of the Jews & Christians rejected:
The Jews fabricated the idea that they the Fire would touch them for a few days only. This has been rejected above in 2:80. The People of the Book propagated the idea that only the Jews and Christians will enter Paradise. The Holy Quran explodes such an idea in such words:
“… These are just their false assumptions. Say (to them):
& Bring your argument, if you are true (in your statement).” (2:111)
The fact is that the Jews fabricated the idea that the Fire (of Hell) would not touch them except for a few days. They thus deceive themselves, and that they do not care for their Book(Torah). (See 3:23,24)
The Holy Quran further challenged the People of the Book:
“ …If the Home of the Hereafter has been exclusively reserved foryou…, then you must wish for death…’ ; and they will never wishto die because of the sins that their hands have sent ahead.”(2:94,95)
When the Jews & Christians stated that they were the beloved of Allah, the Holy Quran shattered them in these words:
“…Why then Allah punishes you because of your sins…” (5:18)
