The Holy Quran states:
“ Don’t you see (O mankind) that Allah has made to serve you what-
ever is in the heavens and earth, and perfected His graces on you,
which are apparent (lawful beautiful resources and their right use
in the Light of Al-Quran & Sunnah) and hidden (belief in Islam and
the grant of Paradise); but inspite of all these, there are people who
quarrel about (the grace provided by ) Allah without any
knowledge, guidance or a book of light.” (31:20)
3. The entire universe praises and glorifies Almighty Allah.
The Holy Quran states:
a)”The seven heavens as well as the earth and whatever is therein glorify
Him; and there is nothing but it glorifies Him with praise; but you just
do not understand their(way of) glorifying.” (17:44)
b) “ And the thunder glorifies Him with praise,and the angels also due to
fear.” (13:13)
c) “ Have you not seen (Holy Prophet) that indeed every thing
in the heavens and earth as well as the birds with their spread out
wings, glorify Allah…” (24:41)
d) “ Glorify your Lord with praise and be amongst those who prostrate
before Him. “ (15:98)
4. According to Abdullah bin Abbas: " In the life time of the Holy Prophet, it was normal for us to recite ‘zikr’ (glorify Allah) after the obligatory congregational prayers.” Abdullah binAbbas further reported that when he heard the above ‘zikr’, he understood about the completion of the obligatoy congregational prayers."(Al-Bukhari:805,806)
5. There are five Surahs (Chapters) of the Holy Quran which begin with the
word’Al-Hamd’ (1:1;6:1;18:1;34:1 ;35:1).And six Surahs begin with the
word of glory.(57:1;59:1;61:1;62:1;87:1)
6. The above Verse 1:1 has been repeated in 6:45;10:10;37:182;39:75 and in 40:65. Let us look at them: (Al-Hamdu lillahay Rabbil Alameen)
“ The Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe.” (1:1)
a) This Verse 1:1 "Al - Hamdu Lillahay Rabbbil Aalameen"
has been mentioned at 6:45 also, when Almighty Allah cut off the roots of the disbelievers for ignoring the warnings of the Messengers and indulging in luxury.
b) In 37:182, this Verse "Al - Hamdu Lillahay Rabbbil Aalameen" has been mentioned again by declaring the sure victory of the Messengers and paying tributes (sla’m) to them. (See 37:171-182)
