“O people of the Book! Let us come to a point, which is common between you and us that we worship none but Allah alone…” (3:64) (Sahih Al-Bukhari:4278)
Note:The Emperor of Rome kissed the letter , but was scared of his companions. On the other hand, the Emperor of Persia, on receiving a similar letter ferociously tore it into pieces. He, was, torn / slaughtered by his son and his kingdom crumbled into pieces. (Ibn-e-Khaldun)
6. Prophet Noah embarked the ship (before the horrible storm) in theName of Allah, on reciting the words:
“In the Name of Allah is its sailing and its anchorage.” (11:41)
7. Prophet Sulaiman invited the Queen of Sheba to embrace Islam, on sending her a letter with the opening words: (27:30)
8. Slaughtering of lawful animals and eating of food must begin in the Name of Allah.

9. Allah’s Name exists in the subconcious mind of every human being, since we call Him only in distress.
Al-Quran states:
“Say: Who liberates you from the darkness of the land and sea, when
you invoke Him alone with humility and secretly that if He pulls you
out of it (the storm), you will surely be grateful.”

10. The Holy Prophet(peace be upon him) said:
a) “Those who remember Allah and those who don’t are like the
living and the dead.” (Al-Bukhari:6044)
b) ”Whosoever recites the following thrice in the morning and
in the evening, no one will harm him:
“Bismi Allah illazi la yathurru ma’a Ismihi shaiun fil arthi wa la
fissamai wa Huwa As-Sami-ul-Aleem.”
(Tirmizi, Ibn-e-Majah,Abu Daud-Mishkat:2280)*
