3:155 “ Indeed, those who turned away from you, when the two armies
met each other (in Uhud), it was Satan who misled them (to run away)
because of some of the sins they earned. And, of course, Allah has
forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Forbearing”.
3:156 “ O’ you who believe! Don’t be like those who disbelieved and
who state to their brothers when they proceed on a journey or come out
for Jihad: ‘ Had they been with us, they would not have died or killed’.
With this, Allah may make this (wrong concept) a cause of regret in
their hearts. And it is Allah, Who gives life as well as death. And Allah is
watching all that you do”.
3:157 “ And whether you are killed in the Way of Allah or die,
then the forgiveness of Allah and mercy is much better than
what they accumulate”. [10:58]
3:158 “ And whether you die or are killed, of course, you will be
assembling before Allah”.
3:159 “ This is because of the Mercy from Allah that you
(Holy Prophet
) treated them (i.e. your companions)
with kindness. And had you been harsh and hard hearted,
they would have scattered away (and would not have
gathered around you). So pardon them as well as seek
forgiveness for them (from Allah) and consult them
in (deciding) the matters (of the State). And when you
are determined (and has taken a decision), trust Allah.
Indeed, Allah likes those, who trust (Allah)”.

3:160 “ If Allah supports you, no one can overpower you; and if He
abandons you, who can then help you after Him. And on Allah must the believers trust”.
