HAJJ:
1. Wear Ihram, after taking bath. Offer two Rakat. Recite ‘Talbiya. Conduct ‘twaf’ of Kaba, making 7 rounds, as mentioned above in Umrah. Offer two Rakat at Maqam-e-Ibrahim. [Wearing of Ihra’m is ‘Fard’.]
2. 8th Zil Hajj: [Rami & stay in Mina are Wajib.]
Reach Mina on 8th Zil Hajj, before the Zuhar prayers. Offer Zuhar, Asr, Maghrib, Isha prayers on 8th Zil Hajj, and the morning prayers on 9th
Zil Hajj in Mina.
3. 9th Zil Hajj: [Staying in Arafa’t is Fard. It is the great Rukn of Hajj.]
Proceed to Arafa’t after sunrise on 9th Zil Hajj. Offer Zuhar and Asr prayers (together) (under the leadership of Imam in Masjid Namra, if possible). Stay in Arafa’t till sunset. Leave for Muzdalfa after sunset, without offering Maghrib prayers. Don’t leave Arafa’t before sunset.
Note: The best recitation / nvocation / zikr in Arafa’t is, as follows:
“ La’ ilaha illallaho; wahdahu; la’ shareekalahu; lahul mulko walahul hamdu;
wa huwa ala’ kulli shain qadeer”.
4. The night between 9th & 10th Zil Hajj: [Stay in Muzdalfa is Wajib.]
a) On reaching Muzdalfa, offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together.
b) Stay at Muzdalfa during the night between 9th & 10th Zil Hajj.
c) From Muzdalfa collect at least 49 pebbles of stone for striking the
devils in Mina during the next three days of Rami.
d) After offering the morning prayers in Muzdalfa on 10th Zil Hajj,
stay for a short time and then proceed to Mina before sunset.
5. 10th Zil Hajj (The First Day of Rami): [Wajib]
a) Strike only the big devil (Jumra Uqba) in Mina with seven pebbles, one after the other.
b) Slaughter the animal after striking the big devil. [Wajib]
c) Men should get their head shaved off / hair cut off partially. [Wajib]
d) Put off Ihram, take bath and wear normal dress. But the restrictions of Ihram still remain, as imposed.
e) Proceed to Mecca for performing Twaf-e-Ziarat of Kaba and Sai of As-Safa & Al-Marwa. [Twa’f-e-Ziarat is Fard & Sai is Wajib.]
[Note: The animal may be slaughtered up till 12th Zil Hajj.]
[Twaf Ziarat & Sai may be performed from 10th Zil Hajj to 12th Zil Hajj, before sunset.]
f) Perform Twaf of Kaba in the normal dress. Make 7 rounds of Kaba. Offer 2 Rakat at Maqam-e-Ibrahim. Drink Zam Zam water, while standing. Perform Sai of As-Safa & Al-Marwa. [Note: This Sai is of Hajj.]
With the completion of ‘Twa’f Ziarat & Sai’, all restrictions imposed by Ihra’m are lifted.
Come back to Mina, as staying in Mecca is not allowed at this stage.
NOTE: The women in the state of menstruation can perform all tenets (Manasak) of Hajj, except Twa’f–e-Ziarat of Ka’ba, which they must perform after purification. In the state of menstruation, no visit to Masjid Haram or any Masjid, no Twa’f, no Twaf-e-Ziarat, no prayers, no recitation of Al-Quran, no touching of Al-Quran.
6. 11th Zil Hajj ( The Second Day of Rami): [Wajib]
In the after noon, strike the three devils each with 7 pebbles. Pray after striking the small and the middle devils. Leave the big devil immediately after striking it and without praying.
7. 12th Zil Hajj (The Third Day of Rami): [Wajib]
In the afternoon, strike the three devils each with 7 pebbles. You must now leave for Mecca, and cross the boundary of Mina before sunset on 12th Zil Hajj, otherwise you will have to pass that night in Mina and will have to strike the three devils again on 13th Zil Hajj in the after noon, before proceeding to Mecca.
8. Twa’f of Ka’ba at the time of departure: [Wajib]
It is compulsory [Wajib] that the non-residents of Mecca perform ‘Twa’f of Ka’ba’ (in normal dress) before leaving Mecca. Complete 7 rounds about Ka’ba. Offer 2 Rakat near Maqam-e-Ibrahim. Drink Zam Zam water, and Pray to Almighty Allah.
[Note: Women with menstruation are exempted from this ‘Twa’f.]

the Verses of Allah (about the Last Prophet, Ka’ba in Mecca as the
center of Millat Ibrahim, pilgrimage, etc.)? And Allah is a witness to what
you do.”
3:99 “ Say (Holy Prophet
you prevent those, who have believed, from (following) the Way of Allah
that you wish to see it distorted, when you yourselves are the witnesses
(about the truthfulness of Muhammad * – peace be upon him and Ka’ba
/ Mecca as the center of Millat Ibrahim)? And Allah is not unaware of

3:100 “ O’ you who believe! If you obey a group of those, who were
given the Book, they will revert you to disbelief, after you have
believed.” [3:69]
3:101 “ And how can you (O’ Muslims) disbelieve, when the Verses of
Allah (are being revealed and) are recited to you and when the
Messenger (Muhammad – peace be upon him) of Allah is present
amongst you? [In other words, to revert to the state of disbelief in the
presence of the Holy Prophet
are observing the miracles and the truthfulness of the Verses.] And, he
who adheres to (the Commandments revealed by) Allah, he, of course,
has been guided to the Straight Path.”
3:102 “ O’ you who believe! Fear Allah as He is to be feared (to the maximum extent) in all aspects, and (remember that) you must not die but as Muslims”. * [64:16;2:132,136;3:84]
