d) FOR AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS, CIVIL ENGINEERS
& AGRICULTURAL SCIENTISTS:
Salinity / Water- logging & Deep plowing
1.“ Verily, there was a Sign for the people of Saba (Sheba) in their
dwellings, containing two (fruit) gardens – one on the right and the
other on the left…(They received abundant) livelihood (food) from
their Lord…(in their) pious (fertile) land…But they became
ungrateful. We, therefore, brought to them a fierce turbulent flood
with which We turned their (sweet fruit) gardens (through salinity
and water-logging) into two gardens, sour and bitter in taste…”
(34:15,16)
3. “ Don’t they move in the land and note the fate (or destruction) of
the people before them? They were surely powerful than these
people (i.e. Mushrikeen of Mecca). They plowed their land
deeply and lived there in abundance with effluence (and luxury)
than these people (of Mecca). And there came to them their
Messengers with clear signs…Worst was then the end of such
people because of their evil deeds. (30:9,10)
e) FOR SOCIOLOGISTS & PSYCHOLOGISTS:
“And from amongst His signs is that He created for you spouses from
yourselves so that you may attain tranquility in them; and We created
between you love and mercy. Verily, in it is a Sign for those, who
think deeply.” (30:21)
f) FOR SCHOLARS:
“And from amongst His Signs is the creation of the heavens and earth,
and diversity in your languages and colors. Of course, in it is a Sign
for the people of knowledge (i.e. the Scholars).” (30:22)
g) FOR BOTANISTS, GEOLOGISTS & MINEROLOGISTS:
“ Did you not see that Allah brought down water from the heaven?
We then bring out fruits and crops of different colors. And
in the mountains also are stone tracks of different colors – white,
red and of different (multiple) shades, with some highly black in
color. And (like wise) from men, beasts and cattle are (the creatures)
of different colors. Surely, only those fear Allah from amongst His
slaves, who are ‘Ulema’ (i.e scholars and scientists possessing
knowledge of such things)…” (35:27,28)
h) FOR ENTOMOLOGISTS:
“…And when the land worn its decoration (in the form of
colorful fruits, flowers and crops) - looking quite beautiful, and its
owners thought that they were powerful to harvest it, (all of a sudden
then) there came upon to them Our Commandment during the day
or during the night (for their punishment) (in the form of pest, insect,
locust, virus, disease, storm, flood etc.), and We, thus, made it bare
and barren as if nothing existed (flourished) there before. In this way,
We explain Our Verses to the people, who think deeply (such as the
scientists and scholars).” (10:24)
i) FOR PLANT BREEDERS:
“ Exalted is He (Allah), Who created pairs of all things (i.e. of
different plants) that the earth grows , and also (pairs) of
themselves as well as of the things which they know not.”
(36:36)
j) FOR IRRIGATION ENGINEERS & AGRONOMISTS:
“ Have you not observed that Allah sent down water from the heaven
with which He created water channels through the earth, and then
produced with it colorful vegetation (which then withered away
due to loss of moisture)?. You will then see them yellowish in color
(as a result of the wilting process). He then caused the (dry) plants
to fall into pieces. Indeed, in it there is a lesson for the people of
wisdom (i.e. for engineers & agricultural scientists).” (39:21)
k) FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERS:
1. “ And We taught him (i.e. Prophet Daud) the technology of (war)
garments (i.e. armors) for your benefit (i.e. for the benefit of
mankind) so as to protect you from your enemy. Will you not
then be grateful (to Allah)?” (21:80)
2. “ …And We sent down (created) iron in which there is great
(tensile, compressive and shear) strength and many benefits
for the people so that Allah may show who assists Him (i.e.
His cause) as well His Messengers …” (57:25)
l) FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS:
“ And from amongst His signs is that He shows you electric
lightning depicting fear as well as hope, and that He sends
down water from the heaven with which He gives life to
earth after its death. Indeed, in it there are signs for
the people, who are intelligent.” (30:24) [See also 2:19]
m) FOR WAY-FARERS, MARINE ENGINEERS & PILOTS:
1. “ …and through the stars, they are guided ( in their way)…”(16:16)
2. “ …And it is He (Allah), Who made for you the stars so that you
may find your way in the darkness of the land and the sea…”
(6:97)
3. “ Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth as well as
in the alternation of the night and day, and in the ship that
moves through the sea ….there are signs for those who
understand.” (2:164)

n) FOR AEORONAUTICAL / SPACE ENGINEERS:
1. “ O’ groups of jinns and men! If you ever possess the power of
crossing the limits (of influence) of the heavens and the earth,
then try to cross it. You will not be able to cross except with a
great force (and speed) . [For example, for crossing the
gravitational limit of earth, a rocket has to move with a
great speed for entering
into space.] (55:33)
2. “ The Blessed is He (Allah), in Whose Hand is (the control of) all the
kingdom (of the universe)…Who created the seven heavens
(like layers) one above the other. You will not find any fault in
the creation of Ar- Rehaman (the Most Beneficent). Just see
around (and up above). Do you find any discrepancy?
See again and again; your sight will return to you as
astonished and exhausted.”
