2:274 SPEND NIGHT & DAY IN THE WAY OF ALLAH
“ Those, who spend night and day secretly and openly, for them there is a reward with their Lord; and they will have neither any fear nor any grief.”
Note: Ironically, there are the oppressors, who rather than spending on the people, extract unnecessary money out of them by giving them loan on interest. Let us study the next Verses in this connection.
2:275 to 2:279 ‘RIBA’ (USURY, INTEREST)
2:275 “ Those who eat ‘Riba’ (interest) they will not stand but like a person whom ‘Shataan’ (devil) has made him mad by touching him.* This is because they said: ‘ The business is like ‘Riba’ (interest)’ , whereas Allah has made the business as lawful and forbade ‘Riba’. Therefore, any one to whom came the warning from His Lord, and he
avoided (to get interest), he will not be asked about the past and that his matter is with Allah. And any one, who starts eating ‘Riba’ again, such are the people of Fire where they will stay for ever.”* [Note: ‘Shattan’ or the devil, on touching or over powering an human being, makes him mad, as mentioned above. The personal name of ‘Shataan’ was ‘Iblees’ who was from the ‘Jins’ (demons). (See 18:50) Therefore, when a jinn (demon) over powers an human being, he makes him mad. Similar is the case of a person, reverts from Islam. See 6:71, where it has been indicated that a person who reverted (from Islam) is like the one whom the devils (demons, jinns) have bewildered him (or made him mad) so that he does not understand any thing, when his companions call him to the right path.]
2:276 “ Allah wipes off ‘Riba’ and multiplies the charity. And Allah does not like the thankless sinner.”
2:277 “ Indeed, those who believed and performed good deeds as well as established prayers and paid ‘zakat’ , there is a reward for them from their Lord; and there will not be any fear nor grief for them.”
