2. Prophet Daud was particularly granted the knowledge of the technology of war garments (armors). (21:80)
3. Almighty Allah revealed the Book (Zabur) to Prophet Daud. (17:55)
4. The mountains and the birds glorified Almighty Allah along with Prophet Daud. (21:79)
5. Almighty Allah taught Prophet Daud whatever He willed. (2:251)
In case of our Holy Prophet, Al-Quran states:
… And Allah sent down to you (Holy Prophet) the Book
(Al-Quran) and Al-Hikmah (Sunnah, Wisdom), and taught
you whatever you did not know; and the Grace of Allah on
you is Ever Great.” (4:113)
** The above Verse 2:251 also states as below, after Prophet Daud killed Jalut (Goliath):
…And had not Allah repelled a group of people by another,
the earth would have been filled with trouble…” (2:251
In this regard, note that after the Muslims were permitted to fight the non- believers, the Holy Quran stated:
…And had not Allah repelled a group of people by another,
the monasteries (of the monks), churches (of the Christians),
synagogues (or temples of the Jews) and mosques (of the Muslims),
where Allah is remembered (worshipped) much, would have been
destroyed…” (22:40)
In other words, had not Allah repelled a group of people by another, the earth would have been filled with trouble, and the places where Allah is worshipped would have been destroyed. (2:251 read with 22:40)
