b) Any person from Quraish, who comes to Muhammad (peace be upon him) (for protection) without the consent of his guardian / tribe, will be returned to Quraish. And that any person (Muslim) from the companions of Muhammad (peace be upon him) coming to Quraish will not be returned.
[ Note: This was a difficult condition, but the time proved that the Quraish themselves were upset by it and tried to delete it later, since some of the Muslims of Mecca after being tortured fled away and settled in between Mecca and Madina, and robed / killed the men of Quraish passing that way. These Muslims under this condition of the Treaty could not go to Madina.]
c) The parties will not betray each other.
d) Any one / tribe wishing to become an ally of Muhammad (peace be upon him) may do so, and similarly any tribe wishing to become an ally of Quraish may join them. Further, the Muslims will go back, and perform Umrah next year. Immediately after the accomplishment of the above peace treaty, the People of the tribe of Banu Khuzaa stepped forward and declared to became an ally of Muhammad (peace be upon him). The people of the tribe of Banu Bakr on seeing that became an ally of Quraish right there.
[Note: Within two years, the Quraish breached their treaty, when they while siding Banu Bakr punished the people of Banu Khuzaa in the Haram of Mecca. Under the above treaty, the Holy Prophet was bound to help Banu Khuzaa as his ally. Consequently, he marched onto Mecca to the surprise of Quraish, who betrayed and broke away the treaty. The city of Mecca was captured without bloodshed, and the pride of Quraish was destroyed.]
