c) His family since their migration to Madina never took the bread of wheat with full stomach continuously for three days. (Bukhari: 5100)
d) Again his family could see the third new moon (after full two months) without having fire (in their oven) (i.e. no cooking for 2 months). They depended mostly on food and water (continuously for two months). (Bukhari:6094)
The Holy Prophet
feared the ill effects of effluence on the part of the believers. He said in this regard:
a) “ By Allah! I do not fear any poverty, at all, on your part. On the other
hand, I fear that the world (with its resources) will be expanded for you,
as it was made for the people before you; and just as they became
greedy (and selfish), you will also become greedy and careless.”
(Bukhari:6061)
b) “ The keys of the treasures of this world have been granted to me. By
Allah! I do not fear that you will commit ‘Shirk’ (Polytheism) after
me, but I certainly fear that you will become greedy (and selfish)
about (the wealth of) this world.” (Bukhari:6062)
The next Verse 2:213 states that Almighty Allah blessed His believers with His Guidance and kept them away from those who tried to create differences about the truth of Islam.
