This Ummah will continue to watch the deeds of all mankind, with their Prophet as witness on them.* (2:143;4:41;22:78)
iii)The Ummah and their Messenger as Witnesses on Mankind: (2:143)*
The above Verse(2:143) indicates that the leadership of the world has, in fact, been given to the true followers of the Last Prophet, so as to watch their deeds, and give a witness on the Day of Judgement. Again, the Holy Prophet and his Ummah will give a witness in favor of the Prophets, such as Noah (Bukhari:3116,4217,6917,4306). This is a great honor for our Holy Prophet, and, accordingly, he became tearful on such a Verse(4:41).
(Bukhari:4306). Since there is no witness after him, he is the Last and Chief of the Prophets, and, thereby, his Ummah is the Last and the Best.
2:144 KABA / MASJID (MOSQUE) HARAM AS QIBLAH
WISH OF THE HOLY PROPHET
2:144 “(Dear Prophet!
) We are, of course, seeing* your face, raised
again and again towards the heaven (waiting for the new instructions/
revelation about the change of Qiblah). Therefore, We will surely
turn you to the Qibla (towards Kaba/Masjid Haram) with which
you will be pleased; then from (now onwards) turn your face to
Masjid Haram (containing Kaba) (situated in Mecca) (for your
prayers), and where ever you are (O’ Muslims!) face towards it.
And, indeed, those (Jews & Christians), who have been granted
the Book, surely know that the change of Qiblah is the truth
from their Lord, and Allah is not unaware of what they do.”
