I) AL-QURAN (References):

A) The Verses of the Holy Quran have been referred to as below:

Example: (4:69)

It means that 4 is the number of Surah or Chapter of the Holy Quran and 69 is the Verse of this Chapter.

B) The following Tafaseer/Translation of the Holy Quran were kept in view while preparing the notes about the commentary on the Verses:

a) The Noble Quran in the English Language( with the summarized version of Tafseer Maani) By

Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali & Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan (Islamic

University, Al-Madina Al-Munawwara, Saudi Arabia.

b)Urdu translation of the Holy Quran by Maualana Shah Muhammad Ahmad Raza Khan with

Tafseer by Maulana Syed Muhammad Naeem-ud-Din.

c) Tafseer Zia-ul-Quran by Peer Muhammad Karam Shah(Al-Azhari).

d) Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abul Ala Maududi.

e) Tafseer Tadabbur-e-Quran by Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi.

II) The Sayings of the Holy Prophet :

The Sayings of the Holy Prophet have been mostly drawn from the following books:

a)Sahih Al-Bukhari by Imam Muhammad bin Ismaeel Al-Bukhari,

with urdu translation by Syed Abd-ud-Daim Al-Jalali Al-Bukhari.

b) Mishkat Sharif, published by Maktaba Rahmania, Lahore.

c) Seerat-un-Nabi by Ibn-e-Hashsham (d) History by Ibn Khaldun.

e)Marif-ul-Hadith by: Manzoor Nomani (f)Encyclopedia of Seerah.

[Note: (Sahih Al Bukhari: 50) or (Bukhari:50) means that 50 is the Serial No. of Hadith of Sahih Al-Bukhari mentioned above.]
