it's true, you can add Casper the Friendly Ghost to the list of celebrities
that have tried getting high!

In CASPER #131, published by Harvey Comics in 1969,
Casper met up with a group of hippies and their genie buddy, Oddzo.ÝÝ They
eventually cam to the conclusion that Casper was kind of square, but the
little guy was so desperate to find some friends that he got all panicky
when they were about to leave him.Ý One thing led to another, and the next
thing Casper knew, Oddzo was "taking [them] all on a trip," complete with
psychedelic visual effects!Ý No drugs are ever shown or mentioned in the
story, but it's hard to imagine how all of those great Austin Powers-like
special effects started happening without them.Ý In any event, all of this
was just too much for poor Casper, and he bailed out with some help from
his gal Wendy The Good Little Witch.ÝÝ
