CURRENT SHOW:
DARK SIDE OF THE PHISH -- 2 November 1998 (the E Centre in beautiful Salt Lake City, UT).

Good evening and welcome to Masterpink Theater. Tonight's performance isn't Pink Floyd... and yet it is. We're pleased to present the surprise Dark Side of the Moon performance that Phish put on at one of their 1998 concerts. It's one of the more unique Floyd cover renditions you'll find. Admittedly, some of the vocals are beyond the group ("Great Gig In The Sky" can be painful to listen to), but the other tracks here are loads of fun. The band has occasionally played isolated tracks from DSotM, but this is the only time they have played the entire album in concet. The band also performed a cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as their encore, and I've left that track in here as well. As an added bonus, Track 15 ("Wish You Were here") is from the 16 April 1999 Phil Lesh & Phriends concert at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, CA.

Please note that you will need to change the ".doc" suffix to ".mp3" after downloading.

The tracks below are all in MP3 format:

IMPORTANT NOTE!

If you trade any of the shows downloaded from this site, you must NEVER trade them to another party without first disclosing that you obtained them in MP3 format rather than a "lossless" format such as SHN. Traders will assume you are exchanging audio CDs made from a lossless format unless you inform them otherwise. Because discs burned from SHN files carry a confirmation code, traders can discern whether a disc you have sent was burned from genuine SHN files. Your observance of audio trading etiquette is appreciated!
