What is Your Basis for Religious Belief ?

What is the Authority that You Rely On as the Basis for What You Believe in Spiritual Matters ?

Is it Your Church , Denomination , a Pastor , another Person , Your Own Thoughts & Feelings , OR the Bible ???

WHAT IF THE AUTHORITY YOU RELY ON

IS WRONG ???

If Your Basis for Truth & Spiritual Authority was Wrong

& Resulted in Your Going to Hell when You Died, wouldn't

that be Too High a Price to Pay ?

ARE YOU WILLING TO ASK THE QUESTION :

WHAT IS THE TRUTH ???

What if Your Church is Wrong ? Would You Really Want to Know it ? Would You be Willing to

Change Churches , IF Your Church was Wrong ?

What is More Important in Your Opinion :

Holding On to a System of Beliefs OR Being Right with God

& Going to Heaven when You Die ?

Is it Better to Look Before we Leap OR to Close Our

Eyes & Hope for the Best ? What If we were Leaping

Into Hell ?

What If it were Possible that Men could be Deceived by

the Devil through Religious Teachings and Leaders who

Appear to be Righteous ? Did You Know that the Bible

Tells Us that this is the Way Satan Operates ?

*** Notice II Corinthians 11:13-15 : For such are False Apostles,

Deceitful Workers, Transforming themselves into the Apostles of

Christ. And No Marvel ; for Satan Himself is Transformed into

an Angel of Light. Therefore it is No Great thing if his Ministers

Also be Transformed as the Ministers of Righteousness ; whose

End shall be According to their Works.

*** Also I John 4:1 : Beloved, Believe Not Every Spirit, but TRY

the Spirits whether they are OF God : because Many False

Prophets are Gone Out Into the World.

HOW SHALL WE "TRY" THE SPIRITS ?

We TRY (or Test) the Spirits BY the Word of God !

ISAIAH 8:20 says :

To the Law and to the Testimony : If they Speak Not According to

This Word, It is Because there is No Light In them.

Jesus Said in John 12:48-50 :

He that Rejecteth Me, and Receiveth Not My Words , hath One

that Judgeth Him : the Word that I Have Spoken , the Same

Shall Judge Him In the Last Day . For I Have Not Spoken of Myself :

but the Father which Sent Me , He Gave Me a Commandment ,

What I Should Say , and What I Should Speak. And I Know that

HIS COMMANDMENT IS LIFE EVERLASTING :

Whatsoever I Speak therefore, Even as the Father Said Unto Me,

So I Speak.

Paul Said in I Corinthians 14:37 :

If Any Man Think Himself to Be a Prophet , or Spiritual ,

Let Him Acknowledge that the Things that I Write

Unto You Are the Commandments of God .

Paul Said in II Timothy 3:14-17 :

But Continue Thou In the Things which thou hast Learned and hast

been Assured Of , Knowing Of Whom thou hast Learned them ;

And that From a Child thou has Known the Holy Scriptures ,

which are Able to Make thee Wise Unto Salvation

through the Faith which is In Christ Jesus .

All Scripture is Given By Inspiration of God , and

is Profitable for Doctrine , for Reproof , for Correction ,

for Instruction in Righteousness : that the Man of God

May Be Perfect , throughly Furnished Unto All Good Works .

Paul Said in II Timothy 2:15 :

Study to Shew Thyself APPROVED UNTO GOD , a Workman

that Needeth Not to be Ashamed , Rightly Dividing

the Word of Truth .

WE MUST USE THE BIBLE

TO JUDGE OUR BELIEF SYSTEMS.

In Order to Use the Bible to Judge Our Beliefs

we Need to Study It's Contents & Compare the

Teachings of Our Church or Our Own Philosophies

to What It Says !!!

Jesus Charged the Religious Leaders of His Day

with Religious Hypocrisy in Matthew 15:8-9 :

Ye Hypocrites, well did Esaias Prophecy of You, saying,

This People Draweth Nigh Unto Me with their Mouth, and

Honoureth Me with their Lips ; But their Heart is Far From Me.

But In Vain they Do Worship Me , Teaching for

Doctrines the Commandments of Men .

Jesus Said in John 4:22-24 :

Ye Worship Ye Know Not What : We Know What We Worship : for

Salvation Is Of the Jews . But the Hour Cometh , and Now Is ,

when True Worshippers Shall Worship the Father

In Spirit & In Truth : For the Father Seeketh Such

to Worship Him . God is a Spirit : and They that Worship

Him Must Worship Him In Spirit & In Truth .

Jesus says to the Father in John 17:17 :

Sanctify them Through Thy Truth : THY WORD IS TRUTH .

HOW CAN A MAN KNOW IF HE IS A

TRUE WORSHIPPER OF GOD ?

CONSIDER THESE SCRIPTURES

Romans 3:23 For All Have Sinned and Come Short of the Glory of God.

Isaiah 53:6 All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray , We Have Turned Every One to His Own Way .

Isaiah 8:19 Should Not a People Seek Unto their God ?

Romans 6:23 For the Wages of Sin is Death, but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Revelation 20:14-15 And Death & Hell were Cast Into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death . And Whosoever was Not Found Written in the Book of Life was Cast Into the Lake of Fire.

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the Lord's Hand is Not Shortened, that it Cannot Save; Neither His Ear Heavy , that it Cannot Hear : But Your Iniquities Have Separated Between You and Your God, & Your Sins Have Hid His Face From You that He Will Not Hear .

Galatians 2:16 By the Works of the Law Shall No Flesh be Justified .

Romans 5:8 But God Commendeth His Love Toward Us , In that While We Were Yet Sinners, Christ Died For Us.

I John 1:7 The Blood of Jesus Christ His Son Cleanseth Us from All Sin.

Mark 1:15 The Kingdom of God is at hand : Repent Ye , & Believe the Gospel.

Acts 20:21 Repentance Toward God & Faith Toward Our Lord Jesus Christ .

Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek Ye the Lord While He May be Found, Call Ye Upon Him While He is Near : Let the Wicked Forsake His Way, and the Unrighteous Man His Thoughts : and Let Him Return Unto the Lord, and He Will Have Mercy Upon Him; and to Our God, for He Will Abundantly Pardon .

II Peter 3:9 Not Willing that Any Should Perish , but that All Should Come to Repentance

TO BE SAVED YOU MUST:

ACKNOWLEDGE

1. That You are a Sinner who has Come Short of the Standards that Jesus Preached & Lived by Romans 3:23 .

2. That You have Been Like a Sheep Going Astray, and You have Set Up Your Own Standards & have Done Things Your Own Way in Life Isaiah 53:6 .

3. That You have Been Wrong to Do This & that You Should have Been Following Jesus & the Father's Way in Your Life

Isaiah 8:19 & John 14:6 . Jesus Said : "I AM THE WAY," Truth, & Life.

4. That there is a Terrible Penalty Placed Upon You By a Holy God Because of Sin Romans 6:23 & Revelation 20:14-15 .

5. That You Need the Forgiveness & Salvation Jesus Offers, because You Can't Save Yourself Isaiah 59:1-2 ;

Galatians 2:16 ; Romans 5:8 ; & I John 1:7 .

REPENT

* Turn Away From Your Life of Self Will & Turn Toward a Life of Surrender To & Faith In the Lord Jesus Christ Mark 1:15 ;

Acts 20:21 ; Isaiah 55:6-9 ; & II Peter 3:9 .

RECEIVE THE GIFT OF GOD

* Salvation is a Gift (Purchased by the Blood of Jesus) that God Freely Gives to All who Come to Him by a Heart of Repentance & Faith In the Sacrifice of Jesus Romans 6:23 ; Romans 10:9-13 ;

Hebrews 7:25-27 ; Hebrews 9:22-26 ; John 1:11-12 .

PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH A SINCERE HEART:

* Dear God, I Know that I'm a Sinner & that I've Lived My Life My Own Way. I Admit that I've Been Wrong, & I'm Sorry God. I Believe that Jesus Died for My Sins, so I could be Forgiven, & I Ask for Your Gift of Salvation through Him. I Repent of Going My Way Lord, & I Choose Today to Live for Jesus for the Rest of My Life, because He Died for Me. Come Into My Heart Lord Jesus; I Receive YOU Today as My ONLY HOPE of Heaven. In Jesus' Name , I Pray , AMEN !!!
