Dr. Finbar Leans on a Loom 


Hello Side-Necked Tortoises,

This week we have little to tell you. We still haven't picked up a 
guitar or a drumstick since our performance at the Old Colonial. And 
our ears are still full of wax. Speaking of which...

WAX LYRICAL

On Wednesday, March 26, the Dr. Finbar Trio will be competing in the 
Wax Lyrical Song Contest (http://www.asai.org.au/vic.htm). We'll be 
playing at the Esplanade in St. Kilda. More details soon.

SUGAR PACKETS

Here is some unexpected good news. The winner of our competition 
surfaced to collect his 288 sugar packets (I know we said it was 285, 
but we found an extra 3 packets cowering in Neil's bag). Our glorious 
winner was also happy to accept his autographed Dr. Finbar manuscript.

Needless to say, the sugar packets were overjoyed. Their new owner has 
promised to do something creative with them, and he will report back 
with further news of their welfare. We will, of course, keep you 
informed.

PETE'S MUM

Pete's mum is still in the country. We will make sure you remain 
appraised of her exploits as news comes to hand.
