The Tramway Hotel Puts Dr. Finbar's Head Through a Bass Drum 


Dear all,

We just called the Tramway Hotel. They were attentive and courteous 
until we asked whether we could have drums there again tonight. They 
then replied in firm, measured tones that under no circumstances would 
last week's episode be repeated. No drums of any shape, colour or 
dimensions are to enter the premises, now and forevermore, amen.

That leaves the Yak. The consensus seems to be that we are Yakked-out 
for the time being. (Also, it transpires that Sam has to wash his hair 
tonight.) So no Dr. Finbar for you this evening. We shall just have 
to redouble our efforts to find another venue.
