Finbar Update 


Hello again,

Just a little note to keep you up to date with what was, and what is to 
be.

THE YAK

Last Thursday night we played at the Yak Speakeasy, a cafe/bar in 
Abbotsford. The place is run by a guy sporting a fine handlebar 
moustache, and a woman who might have stepped right out of a Wagner 
opera. They were both very nice to us. The vibe of the place was kind 
of surreal; it was an interesting night. We managed to emerge 
relatively unscathed.

THIS WEEK

Tuesday night we're playing at the RAILWAY HOTEL, 291 Albert St., 
Brunswick, starting 8.30pm.

TROLLEYLAUNCHER RECORDS

We have decided to set up our own vanity record label. Soon, the Dr. 
Finbar Trio will be entering the studio to lay down our debut CD. 
(Translation: in a couple of weeks, we'll be hiring out a grotty 
rehearsal room to record Pete's drum tracks & Sam and Neil will finish 
the recording in Neil's bedroom.) You will be able to afford this CD, 
but remember, you get what you pay for...
