1. Make sure both you and your other spend an equal amount on gifts for each other. If you spend more than your partner, then your partner will feel guilty, and they will feel that they need to make it up to you, which will lead to them conswtantly bothering you.
2. Make sure that you two are not together all of the time. People need time to themselves. If one wants to spend every minute with the other, then the relationship is doomed. Guys need guy time and girls need girl time. Guys need a time in which it is appropriate to watch TV and fart, and girls need a time in which it is appropriate to talk about "feminine issues" and other things girls talk about. Perhaps a night of the week in which both of you allocate for friends.
3. Go dutch every now and then. Seriously, guys are cheap sometimes. My parents will tell you that I'm cheaper than a hooker in Vegas. Anyway, the girl will like a guy who knows how to manage his money.
4. This is probably the most important tip. DON'T HAVE SEX. Seriously,sex ruins relationships because once you and your partner do the horizontal monster mash, she will want you to cuddle with her. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with cuddling, but when she wants to cuddle for a few hours, then it becomes a bit of a bother.Also, once you and your partner have sex one of you will want more, and the other will not always want to give the other more. The best thing to do is to wait until marraige to have sex nbecause if sex ruins the relationship, then you're stuck with them ("'til death do us part.").
5. It's alright to tell your partner that you love them, but not all the time. This kind of relates to a previous tip, but if you tell your partner that yo love them too often, they will think you are becoming too attached to them, and that is not a good idea.
