Judging by the posts that I've seen on the IMDb message boards, I think many viewers have had the same reaction as I have to this film.
I rented it, not expecting much, to be honest; it didn't really seem like it was my kind of movie. I was more than pleasantly suprised by the end, though; this is a great film. I liked it more that either The Godfather or Appocalypse Now, believe it or not. It was totally enthralling and kept me on the edge of my seat. Great suspense, originality, simplicity, ambiguity, and intelligence make this a fine work of cinema. I would recommend it to anyone.
