Intaglio 14" x 17"
This print is based on the seventh page of the Angelworks comic book. I used a jeweler saw to cut out the divisions between the panels. This created the bright white "gutters" which appear in comic books. When I was working on this piece, I used blue ink to proof it, because I had no other ink available. I had always intended to make the final print with black ink. When I went to do so, I found that the black ink print had less energy than the blue. Angelworks Page 7 is currently on display at Artlink for the 22nd Annual National Print Exhibition.
