| Our Mission and Foundation "Thumb's Up for Kids" is primarily supported by individuals and businesses who work and live in Sanilac County. We believe there is a collective spirit among us which truly desires to help our neighbors and friends, be they known or unknown to us, when a tragic diagnosis affects one of their children. Our Board of Directors has elected, however; not to stop at our county's borders in providing assistance. We have targeted the greater 'thumb' area of Michigan for the work which we are doing. We have done this because we recognize many of our residents travel for employment or education across our county line as well as seek medical care at hospitals outside our immediate area. |
| "Thumb's Up for Kids" is a non-profit organization composed primarily of employees of various units which make up Sanilac County Government. It is dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children with chronic or life threatening illnesses. |
