GOALS -  In 2008, I plan to compete Shapiro at the Grand Prixl level.  These shows will be in a attempt to receive USDF Grand Prix Performance Certificate.  Also will be competing Moud (Friesian Gelding owned by Karen Waldren) at 3rd level and Avondale (Tk gelding at Training and 1st). 

2005 - Training Shapiro, 12 yr old Oldenburg gelding at the FEI level.  I just purchased foal who shows lots of potential Currently attending clinic with Bruno Greber and Kimberly Kulesa.

2004 - Competed Shapiro at the Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I.  Qualified and competed at Dressage at Deveon.  Also competed my young horse Merlin at Training and 1st level placing consistently in the top five. 

2003 - Competed Shapiro beginning at 4th level and then moving him up to the FEI level.   We qualified for both the BLM finals and the ABIC Regional finals. 

2002 -  Competed Haagen Dazs in California at two CDI competitions. 

2001

• Competed in California on homebred and self- trained horse Haagen Dazs, 12 year old Dutch Warmblood, at the Prix St. Georges and Intermediare level, consistently placing in the top 12 at these competitions
• LA Equestrian Center Competition placing 3^rd in Freestyle, Open PSG placing 7^th, FEI Intermediare I - placing 7^th
• Golden State Dressage - Placed 3^rd in Intermediare Freestyle, 8^th in Intermediare I
• DelMar National Dressage - Awarded "Best Presented at the Jog." Placed 8^th in Intermediare Freestyle and 8 ^th in Intermediare I
• DG Bar Ranch - 6^th place Intermediare I, 8^th place Intermediare Freestyle and 11^th PSG

2000

• Recipient - Ruth Arvanette Fund to attend USDF National Convention in November 2000
• Placed 1^st nationally for Intermediare I Freestyle, placed 1^st locally in PSG, Intermediare I and Intermediare I Freestyle

• HDCTA Champion at Training Level with 5 year old Trakehner, Psafari

• I was awarded the E. Avery Drapery Trophy for being the highest scoring DVCTA member at Dressage at Devon at 4^th level on self trained horse President.

• I showed horses both in hand and under saddle at Dressage at Devon.



• Over the years, I have competed training level thru FEI Intermediate II with many wins and placings (too many to list). I have listed just a few of my personal highlights in this Equestrian Profile. Currently, I am training my own Dutch Warmblood at Grand Prix level.

Personal Training:

Currently, I am a trainer specializing in Classical Dressage instruction. I live in Hawaii and have numerous horses in training as well as having many students. I have attended numerous clinics since residing in Hawaii with clinicians and judges.

• Worked with Lendon Gray during the summer several weeks.

Spring 1989

• As recipient of the Carl Heinrich Asmis Scholarship trained in Germany at Reitinstitute Egon VonNeindorff with Melissa Simms, Head Trainer.

Summer 1987 thru Spring 1990

• Trained with Gunnar Ostergaard.

Summer 1986

• Qualified for ESDCTA team competition (at 2^nd level with Adwind Lau) and was coached by Edith Masters former 2 time Olympic Dressage Rider.

• Trained with the late Major Hector Carmona (former Chilean Olympic rider) at Los Alamos Dressage Center, NJ.
