This
was a picture taken the day after Olya accepted my marriage proposal.
We decided to celebrate by having dinner and dessert at a nice dessert.
We were very excited, but had no idea when we should be married, where
we were going to live, and how we would be able to have marriage counseling.
We did our best to trust God with it and He took care of everything.
Two
days after our engagement, we headed down to a city called Murom so that
I could meet Olya's granny, uncle Sergei, and aunt Katya. The weather
was absolutely freezing. I think it was about -13 deg F. Olya's uncle
gave us a walking tour of the city. Overall it was a nice visit and they
seemed to like me. It went better than expected.
