Chapter Two
Ally or Foe

That depends, if thou art allied with Norgot, and the other Hobgoblin Lords than thou art my foe, but if thou art against the reign of the Hobgoblin Lords than thou art my friend," the person hidden in the bush explained. He than emerged from the undergrowth still holding the sword and Dremron saw that he was an elf. "So speak thee, friend, or foe?" asked the blond haired, his sword held steady in his left hand, his right hand held out as if to shake the mages hand.

"Friend," replied Dremron, removing his staff from the man who was watching the exchange between the mage and elf suspiciously.

"That's a relief, I was dreading having to fight on an empty stomach," said the figure, sheathing his sword in his scabbard. "What is thy name?"

"My name is Dremron, I am a fire mage," the old mage answered. "What be the names of you and your companion?"

"My name is Crowin, my family has suffered under the Hobgoblin Lords and now I seek to settle a score," the elf answered, his eyes alight with vengeance.

"And my name is Behedroth, it is nice to meet thee Dremron," said the man who had been pinned to the ground by Dremron. "I too wish vengeance for the deaths of my family.

"So where are you getting with this?" asked Dremron speculatively, scratching his white beard.

"Well.I hath been wondering if thou would wish to join it on our quest, Behedroth and I can't do this our selves," Crowin admitted, a note of plea in his voice.

"I suppose I'll join you, I have nothing better to do and I've always been partial to adventure, plus I wouldn't miss a chance to stick it to those Hobgoblin 'Lords'," Dremron said merrily.
