Test your knowledge:

 

These are either true or false…

 

  1. fe- is used for medicines, while - is not

 

  1. Proto-Drem uses only 1 article for ‘a’, ‘an’ and ‘the’.

 

  1. A consonant followed by an apostrophe, such as b’ means that the consonant is an implosive.

 

  1. Negatives generally go at the start on the sentence, while questions go at the end.

Self exercises:

 

Write some simple sentences using negatives and questions using the words in this lesson.

 

Practice the sounds, especially the implosives. For most, the sounds will be new and with practice will generally become easy to pronounce.       

 

See if you can write a few small sentences using a combination of negatives, questions, a/abo and pronouns to get a feel of where certain things go in a sentence.
