Plymouth Gaol
Plymouth Gaol was built in 1849 and closed in 1930. It was used as a police headquarters for a while, then part of the complex  became a fire station while the main part became sewing rooms for the old Freedom Fields hospital. The fire station part has  been demolished but I don't know if the rest of the prison is heading the same way. I suspect it might be though as it must have been  empty for some time.
I'd love a peek inside!
