| Formerly known as the Plymouth Burough Asylum and Blackadon Asylum, Moorhaven took it's first patients in 1891. The land had been procured for the purpose of building an asylum some years earlier, but financial squabbles had prevented work from commecing. The hospital closed in the early 1990s and was sold to a developer who converted it into housing. It's now Moorhaven Village. |
