| Charles Church was completed in 1658, and destroyed when Plymouth was bombed in 1941. Despite some calls to knock it down, it was left as it was as a memorial to the civillians who died. It's a little patch of quiet in the middle of a busy road, currently bordered by construction sites as a new giant shopping mall is erected. | |||||||||||||||||
