Cover Her Face

Cover her face...mine eyes dazzle...she died young - Webster

Cover her face,
stroke her hair over her eyes,
disguise her.
She has died inside.

Wrap her in cloth,
hide her from the world
remove her.
This is her shroud.

She may be living still
but the soul is dead
no one must see her now.
Nevermore.
