Christine's (Webmistress) Encounter with Bruce at the 2003 OLTL Luncheon

I met Bruce sixth out of everyone that was there, being that him, Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) and Jessica Morris (Jen) had very long lines in the beginning. At first they were at seated at a daises table but then Catherine decided to stand up and come out into the line and mingle with everyone, Bruce followed and did the same! And Jessica just stayed at the daises table. So first I met Catherine and she was just the BEST! She gives you a hug immediately and makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated. So after Catherine, came Bruce who was standing right behind her. I walked up and said "Hi Bruce!" and he said "Hi!" being that I took my name tag off earlier he didn't get my name right away. So I gave him a short letter and I typed up to him all about this site, my e-mail etc. And he said that he's checked a few out and will make sure to check mine out too. Then all of a sudden Jessica gets up from the daises table, grabs her drink and is leaving! Everyone still in line is shouting to her "Jen you didn't finish the line!!!" and she honestly didn't seem to care I think she was kind of upset because being that Catherine and Bruce were like standing and talking with everyone in the line, no one was going to her. So whatever, so then I'm talking with Bruce getting ready to hand him my photo to get autographed and then these his "Body guard" or whatever is pulling him away! And I'm like what the hell??? So he's walking away and I scream out "Bruce! Can you please just sign my photo!" So he comes back and says he's really sorry and signs my photo, so then these people in line just come off and come over to us and they're all talking to him while I'm supposed to be talking to him!! Now that was the only part I was pissed about, so I handed a lady my camera and she took a picture of me and him and then he really had to go so he left. You could tell he really wanted to stay but him and Jessica had to get out of there for some reason so oh well. I wish I would've had more time with him, there was so much I wanted to say but whatever, Ill meet him again, someday.
