Power of a Wish”
We
help the Make A Wish Foundation for children who have life-threatening diseases.
We
granted our first wish in April 2002.
Through my pageants and all my contestants,
we
were able to grant a little boys wish.
His name is Jaylon from Calhoun Georgia.
He
will be going to Disney World. My goal
in 2002 is to grant 2 wishes.
With your
help, we can make it!

To our U.S.A. Dream Star National Finals to be held at the Beautiful Holiday
Inn Hotel and
Suites March 22-24, 2003 in Atlanta-Marietta, Georgia. I have put a lot of thought into my pageant such as age
groups, and awards! Look at how many chances you have to win a title and CASH,
Two Grand Supremes, Three
Supremes, Three Mini Supremes, Three Overall Photogenic, Three Overall Sportswear
or Casual Wear, and Twelve Queens. We are a Christian run pageant system and we
hope everyone will cheer and clap for all contestants, not just your child.
Show good sportsmanship toward others. Parents, set a good example for your
child. They learn what they see and hear. Hug them and tell them they did a
good job whether they win or lose. "A little hug goes a long way!"
We hope you will start making plans now
to enter. It will be a fun filled weekend.

GIFTS: We ask each contestant to bring six wrapped gifts
($5.00 to $7.00) and turn in at registration. One will go to last year's Grand
Supremes, Alix Pearson and Melissa Reese; one will go to Supremes Alysia
Rodriquez: one to Zoe Arrington: one to Melissa Gibbins; and one to this year’s
Age Group Queen. Remember it could he you next year.
WE DO NOT DOUBLE
CROWN! Which means if you win Grand Supreme, you can not win Supreme,
Mini Supreme, or Queen. This gives another contestant a chance to win something.

AGE GROUP -Will be determined by the age you are as of November
1, 2OO2~ or you may move up a group. Must be able to furnish proof of age if
asked.
MAKE A WISH - is for children with life
threatening illnesses. All money from this category goes to the Make A
Wish Foundation. With your help and
through my pageants, we were able to grant our first wish in April. It went to
a
little boy, Jayshon in Calhoun,
Georgia. God bless each of you who helped grant his wish. You will truly be
rewarded!
TWO GRAND
SUPREMES-$3,000 Savings Bonds, one
birth - 6 yrs., one in 7 yrs. up. This will be the contestant with the highest
scores in Beauty Photogenic, Sportswear, or Casual Wear. They will receive a
$3,000 Savings Bond, or cash value $1,500 cash a breathtaking National Crown, a
nice gift a beautiful custom designed wrap around Banner, plus come back next
year to crown and receive a box full of gifts. Must have 60 contestants to give
Grand Supremes. If we have 75 we will give $5000 Savings Bond.
THREE SUPREMES- $2,000 Savings Bonds, one in birth - 2 yrs.. one in
3-6 yrs. one in 7 yrs. up will receive a $2,000 Savings Bond or $1,000 cash, a
breathtaking National Crown, a nice gift, a special designed wrap around
Banner, and a Rhinestone Banner Pin. Come back next year and receive a box full
of gifts.
THREE MINI
SUPREMES - $1,000 Savings Bonds, one in birth-2 yrs.. one 3-6 yrs, one
in 7 yrs-up will receive a $1,000 Savings Bond or $500 cash, a
breathtaking National Crown, a nice gift, a beautiful wrap around National
Banner, and a Rhinestone Banner Pin.
THREE OVERAlL
PHOTOGENIC WINNERS - $200.00 Bonds, one in birth - 2 yrs, 3-6 yrs, 7
yrs- up will receive a $200.00 Savings Bond, a beautiful National Banner, and a
Rhinestone Banner Pin.
THREE OVERALL
SPORTSWEAR or CASUAL WEAR - One in birth - 2yrs,
one in 3-6 yrs, one in 7 yrs-up will receive a $200.00 Savings Bond, a
beautiful National Banner, and a Rhinestone Banner Pin.
QUEENS- One in each age group will receive a breathtaking
National Crown, a National Trophy, $600.00 Savings Bond, or $300.00 cash, a
nice gift, a National Wrap Around Banner, and a Rhinestone Banner Pin.
There
will be a line up in Beauty.
FOUR RUNNER UPS - In each age group will receive a
National Trophy and a nice gift.
Every Contestant not placing will receive a trophy and
gift on stage.
SPORTSWEAR OR
CASUAL WEAR - (Choice one only.) Sportswear may be glitzy with
high fashion modeling. Casual Wear may be anything off the rack with no
modeling, upbeat music will be provided. Winner and two runner-ups
will receive a National Trophy. There will be no lineup in Sportswear or Casual
Wear. (Two minute time limit.)
PHOTOGENIC-
Winner and two runner-nps in each age group will receive a National Trophy.
Pictures may be black/white or color No larger than 8.10 or 8 1/2 x 11. (No
frames.) (Qne picture only.) However, you may enter five extra pictures at
$25.00 each. All pictures must be turned in Friday night at registration. With
your name and age group on it (Do not mail in.)
MOST BEAUTIFUL - Winner in each age group will
receive a National gift or Crown.
(Judged on facial beauty only.)
BEST DRESSED-Winner
in each age group will receive a National Gift or Crown.
MAKE A WISH - Winner in each age group will
receive a beautiful plaque to put your picture in with your title and a poem on
it. This is mandatory. All fees from this go for children with life threatening
illness to help grant their last wish. Through our pageants and contestants, we
were able to grant a five year old boy's wish in April, 2002. The average wish
is $4,500-$5,000
REFERRALS-
Refer three contestants not on my mailing list and your childd enters free.
Must enter everything. Deadline for referrals is March 1. They must mail in at
least a $100.00 deposit by March 1. NO EXCEPTIONS. Door entries do not count.
BEST WISHES - You may sell Best Wishes for $5.00 each on a
drawing for $100.00 cash to earn your entry fee. Tickets have no hearing on
what else you win in the pageant. This is just to help get your fees paid. You
do not have to sell tickets to he in the pageant. Buyer does not have to be
present to win. Deadline for tickets is March 1,2003. Tickets do not include
Make A Wish, or extra categories at the door or poster contest.

This is for fun. $5.00 fee. Make up a poster for the

Wish Foundation and put it on your door and it will be judged. The one with the
Most Creative Poster will
recieve a
very special surprise. It can be anything pertaining to the Make A Wish
Foundation or children. First
Runner-up will receive a nice gift.
Entries
will be taken at the door with a $25.OO
late fee (NO EXCEPTIONS.)
SISTERS - one
full price the other half price. Must enter all categories for half price.
This
applies to everyone but contestants. You
must have badge to enter ballroom. If you lose your badge you will have to purchase
another even though we know yon bought one. (No exceptions.) If you attend only the crowning door
admission is the same.

Dream Star staff or place pageant is being
he]d from any and all responsibility for damages or loss of property incurred at or to and from pageant I agree that Judges decisions are final. I
agree to show good sportsmanship, otherwise it could result in forfeit of awards
and fees and contestant could he banned from future pageants. We reserve the
right to refuse any contestant, or parent, or family member who has shown bad
sportsmanship in the past I agree to pay a $25.00 service fee for any returned
checks. No refund, however, if pageant is cancelled due to lack of
participation money will refunded. If pageant is cancelled due to bad weather
there will be no refund. Pageant will be =scheduled. Directors reserve the
right to make changes only due to lack of participation. I also agree that any
pictures or videos of this pageant can only be used to advertise the U.S.A. Dream
Star pageant. No refund money will apply to next year’s pageant.
